When you're renovating your kitchen, one of the essential pieces that need to be replaced is the old faucet that does noone any good by now. As a matter of fact experts say that the old faucets should be replaced as they might pose health hazzards to people living in the home. To be honest I have never heard of Delta faucets before, so I started researching online about them. The more I researched, the more I found great things about it. And the more I started liking it. Of course, during our next visit to our friends, we went over to inspect the faucet live, to reinforce that our decision to purchase this faucet is the right one. The magnets are made to last forever and their polarity basically keeps the spray head aligned in a perfect way that makes the entire piece look clean and seamless without drooping over time. This also allows you to easily switch between the aerated spray and stream modes simply with a twist. Does It Come With Any Extras? It is made with the Brilliance finish, which basically withstands any abrasions and discolorations much better than the regular brass or chrome finishes. Also internally it has a solid brass construction that ensures quality and reliability for a long time. And the teapot inspired faucet is absolutely a darling. It has a timeless design that is a true marriage of form and efficient and durable, long lasting function. Also if you have any stainless steel appliances in your kitchen, they will be well complemented by the Delta kitchen faucet. Not only that but I have heard of people installing them in their bathrooms as well. Due to the added soap dispenser, they are a perfect match for the bath against the shower. Is It Easy To Install? Installation is truly easy, I have actually seen it in action. You have step by step directions that are extremely clear and all you need to perform the installation are things you have around the house: a set of plyers and a few wrenches. Any Complaints? There was the one odd complaint that the faucet was leaking or the water sprayed beyond the area designated, however it boiled down to a defect item that was purchased locally at Lowes and it was replaced with a new item for free.
